North Canton, Ohio – After defeating the Lima Loco's in game one of Saturday's doubleheader, the Stark County Terriers looked to take game two and finish the season with a five hundred winning percentage, and did so again in dramatic fashion, beating the Loco's 6-5 in a late inning comeback. The Terriers rallied late, scoring all six Terriers runs in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the win, the Terriers go to 20-20 on the season and allow the Terriers to end their season with a five hundred winning percentage. The Loco's scored first in game two, scoring in the first inning on a Loco's home run to left field. The Loco's would add an insurance run in the third inning, scoring a run on a single, stolen base and a sacrifice fly. The Loco's would score again in the fifth, adding two more insurance runs on four singles. The Terriers rallied in the seventh inning. Brandon White (Kent State University) led off the inning with a walk. Two batters later, Rob Wendzicki (Eastern Michigan University) reached first safely on a throwing error, putting two runners on base from Kevin Haas (University of Akron). Haas (University of Akron) would answer with a RBI double, scoring White (Kent State University) and putting two runners in scoring position for Ollie Enos (College of Wooster). Enos (College of Wooster) would deliver a single to center field, scoring both Wendzicki (Eastern Michigan University) and Haas (University of Akron). The next batter, Chris Niro (Miami of Ohio) would walk, bring Blake Chaffee (Miami of Ohio) to the plate. Chaffee (Miami of Ohio) would also deliver, roping a double into the left field gap, scoring Enos (College of Wooster) and Niro (Maimi of Ohio). The next batter, pinch hitter Jason Patton (Kent State University) would deliver a game winning RBI single, scoring Blake Chaffee (Miami of Ohio).
