Stark County Terriers 18O could not keep pace with Force Ohio College Prep 4-1 on Monday at Westlake High School.


Force Ohio College Prep got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Trent Alvord was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Kyan Freyhauf singled, scoring two runs, and a steal of home scored one run.


Matthew Serdinak earned the win for Force Ohio College Prep. The starting pitcher gave up zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out four and walking one. Jacob Lowery took the loss for Stark County Terriers 18O. The right-handed pitcher went two innings, giving up four runs (zero earned) on two hits, striking out two and walking one. Evan Kortes earned the save.


Nathan Grega led the team with one run batted in. Ty Sowers led Stark County Terriers 18O with one hit in three at bats. Ty Williams paced Stark County Terriers 18O with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, accumulating nine walks for the game. Alex Laird stole two bases.


Heath Fetchik, Sawyer Solitaria, and Freyhauf each collected one hit for Force Ohio College Prep. Freyhauf led Force Ohio College Prep with two runs batted in. The center fielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Force Ohio College Prep were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Fetchik had the most chances in the field with seven.

Stark County Terriers 18O were victorious against Force Ohio College Prep 7-3 on Monday at Westlake High School.


Stark County Terriers 18O opened the scoring in the first after John Simecek grounded out, scoring one run.


Stark County Terriers 18O scored three runs in the top of the second on a home run to left field by Josh Dezenzo on an 0-2 count.


Christian Harris earned the win for Stark County Terriers 18O. The starting pitcher gave up six hits and three runs (zero earned) over six innings, striking out four and walking one. Jake Boynar took the loss for Force Ohio College Prep. They went three innings, giving up four runs on two hits, striking out five and walking four. Jacob Lowery collected the save.


Dezenzo led Stark County Terriers 18O with three runs batted in from the number seven spot in the lineup. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Nathan Grega went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Stark County Terriers 18O in hits. Mason Stoldt stole two bases.


Sawyer Solitaria provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Force Ohio College Prep with two runs batted in. The third baseman went 1-for-3 on the day. Parker Evans and Carson Herman each collected two hits for Force Ohio College Prep. Force Ohio College Prep were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Heath Fetchik made the most plays with eight.

Stark County Terriers 18O topped Mountaineer Lumber Company 7-3 on Friday at Thurman Munson Memorial Stadium.


Stark County Terriers 18O got on the board in the bottom of the third inning after Mountaineer Lumber Company committed an error, and Ty Williams doubled, each scoring one run.


Stark County Terriers 18O scored five runs on six hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Kaiden Mastri singled, scoring one run, Braden Broom hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, Seth Yacobucci singled, scoring two runs, and Mason Stoldt doubled, scoring one run.


Brennan McCune earned the win for Stark County Terriers 18O. The starting pitcher gave up two hits and one run over five innings, striking out seven and walking four. Ian Blood took the loss for Mountaineer Lumber Company. The starting pitcher went three and two-thirds innings, giving up seven runs (six earned) on eight hits, striking out one and walking one. Logan Poole collected the save. Jaylen Leedy appeared in relief for Stark County Terriers 18O.


Stark County Terriers 18O collected 10 hits in the game. Yacobucci led Stark County Terriers 18O with two runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Williams led Stark County Terriers 18O with two hits in three at bats. Stark County Terriers 18O turned two double plays in the game.
